A Wrap-Up of our Elf this Holiday Season

I am not even going to try to catch up on all of the stuff that has happened to us since I last blogged. Instead, I'm going to give you a quick synopsis on our holiday happenings. We had a really fun holiday season, mostly because of our adorable family Elf, Peppermint. He arrived back at our house on the day after Thanksgiving, and we had 32 amazing days of fun with him!  Here is a recap of his adventures in our home:

On Day 6, the kids found a letter on the counter, with some ingredients and were told to plant some peppermint kisses in flour.  The next day, the found that the kisses grew into candy canes...

On Day 7, Peppermint brought the kids these hats to wear...

Zip-lining through the kitchen on Day 11...

On Day 25, he trapped the kids in their bedrooms with masking tape on their doors...

On Day 26, he was feeling left out and put up a stocking for himself and Alley.

On the last day he included a good-bye note, praising each family member on something he or she has been working on this season, and pronouncing that he'll be back next year on December 1st! We can't wait!

  1. OMG!!! Love what you had him do around your house

  2. So cute! I love that you do Elf on the Shelf and that you have fun with it! I hear so many parents whine and complain about "having" to come up with stuff for the Elf to do and I'm like, THEN DON'T DO IT! If you don't want to take the time and make it fun for your kids, then just don't do it!! So go you! :)

And welcome back to the blogging world!
