Our cats are indoor cats. They were declawed when they were babies and we do not let them out of the house. However, now that we have children who forget to close the doors behind them, the cats have figured out that they can escape when we are not looking. They don't go very far. They usually hide out under the deck, where it is dusty and dirty. But they always come back. They stand by the door and meow for us to open the door for them! It's actually pretty funny and predictable!

Here are some pics of the kids looking under the deck, trying the coax Alley and Cleo out and back into the house. For some reason it really worries the children when the cats are out. Jack and I put up our feet and say, "Don't worry...they'll be back!"
