Fun Outside

Here are some shots of my family, having some dirty, messy, outside fun!

Alley Cat

Finally! I made a layout about one of my pets! Cleo wouldn't cooperate for the camera, so I'll scrap her on another day! LOL

Waiting

Here is a new layout that I created for a challenge on scrapbook.com. We were to make a page that included a photo of ourself and personal journaling!

Escapee

Our cats are indoor cats. They were declawed when they were babies and we do not let them out of the house. However, now that we have children who forget to close the doors behind them, the cats have figured out that they can escape when we are not looking. They don't go very far. They usually hide out under the deck, where it is dusty and dirty. But they always come back. They stand by the door and meow for us to open the door for them! It's actually pretty funny and predictable!

Here are some pics of the kids looking under the deck, trying the coax Alley and Cleo out and back into the house. For some reason it really worries the children when the cats are out. Jack and I put up our feet and say, "Don't worry...they'll be back!"

Visitor from FL

On Sunday, Candi and I went to a 12 hour crop at Archiver's. Unfortunately, it didn't last the entire 12 hours. Tornadoes were spotted in the area and the Archiver's employees were forced to follow the safety codes. People had to pile into their back employee workroom. Whoever didn't fit had to sit under the croppin' tables. Candi and I chose to sit under the tables. (Yes, even me with my pregnant belly!) It was a bit uncomfortable, but we SURVIVED! Here's a pic of Candi under the table! LOL

Shel and Pam -- IRL! (We said that would be the title of the layout that we do with these pics) LOL!

Candi and I got to meet Pam, our scrap-friend from FL. We went to Windy City Scrapbooking for over an hour of tireless shopping!

Final entry

Here's my final entry for photography assignment #1. I thought the pensive, serious look on his face was sweet. He is turning the crank so that the bucket of water will tip over and spill on his head! LOL

Photo Assignment #1

This is my third entry in the offset photo assignment. Of course, if I were to print this photo, I would fade the background to all black to get the TV out of view!

Photography Assignment #1

This photo is for a photography assignment on scrapbook.com. This is a triangular shaped photo. My children were NOT cooperating on this day, so this was the best of the bunch.

Photography Assignment

My assignment was to take an offset photo. I like the feel of this one, but Matt's head appears to be turned at an awkward angle. Otherwise, I like the effect of the fountains on one side and him on the other.
